GOEPEL electronic’s TESSY extended is a fully automated electronic functional test system for the production of electronic devices in vehicles. TESSY extended supports EOL tester lines (EOL = End of Line) with cross-linked test cells, from Ident-Scan of the 2-D code via multiple parallel test to laser marking and sorting of faulty parts – for quantities of more than one million devices.
TESSY extended can be adapted to various ECUs and offers highly flexible test resources. The parallel test capability enables a maximum throughput with low form factor of the systems. Extensions are possible to handle larger quantities being produced and increased test depth requirements. By utilising PXI multifunctional cards and the coupled signal conditioning, digital I/O functions can be defined and analogue dynamic measuring functions can be designed. An additional system extension with CAN/LIN PXI modules enables specific test functions, incl. rest bus simulation. Furthermore, extensive diagnostic functions for programming internal information, verifying of fault memories, flashing processor contents, etc are available.
The modular software structure to generate test sequences and the specific library allows the user to concentrate on converting test requirements.
